I fell in love with lute music because it is meant to be played quietly.  So I got hold of a couple of student lutes and can offer them to you for $650, plus $40 for packing, shipping and insurance!  This student lute has dark and light staves and a rosewood body!  The soundboard is light spruce in a carved rosette pattern.
