He is a pharmacist, PhotoShop addict and enjoys Ananda Shankar's 1972 Album entitled "Ananda Shankar" as well as the music of Shalil Shankar and others.
Arthur writes "Learning Indian classical music was been a dream of mine for a very long time. I've only been playing a short time but feel it has changed my life to some extent as well as my outlook and the way I deal with everyday issues. I don't believe I've ever felt so challenged, stimulated, relaxed, and creatively fulfilled (all simultaneously!) before. I was fortunate enough to find Peter C. and Buckingham Music, Inc. early in my on line searching for a sitar. His pages were most encouraging, enlightening, and informing for a beginner. Peter actually gave me the guidance I needed to get started! He spent 5 hours tweaking it for me - something I had no clue of or how to do at the time. I will always be grateful for the help. Behind me in this photo is my teacher/guru John Protopappas. He is an individual of infinite kindness and compassion; a wonderful teacher."
